I read and interesting blog post this morning:
I this this is a problem that needs to be addressed in the gaming community. When did we become so self-intitled? What makes us think that we are special, or deserve things. This is just one example of gamer over-reaction to tiny things. I don't care about COD, and I never have, but it is important that the people who do care about it don't think that the developers owe them anything. If you really believe that .1 seconds is enough of a difference to ruin the game for you, I have a very simple solution. Do not play the game anymore. You can vote for these kinds of things with your money and with your participation, or lack there of. But death threats? For this? What has happened to us? When did we become so demanding? I think that all of us need to re-evaluate how we should treat the people that make the games that we love so much.
