Since football is such a time-honored Thanksgiving tradition in so many households, I figured this little badass would be the perfect selection for today: 9-year-old Sam Gordon, the chick who KILLS IT on the football field and dominates her boy opponents. Sam hails from Salt Lake City, Utah and decided that she no longer wanted to play soccer but wanted to try football instead. (She has the coolest parents of all-time by the way, because I would be so nervous for my little child, regardless of gender, to be playing tackle football!!) So Sam out-tested all the boys in speed and agility drills and was named quarterback of her team (they only run plays on the ground). In her first year on the field, she made 32 touchdowns, carried the ball over 1900 yards and had 65 tackles. Her dad uploaded a video to YouTube of her game highlights and she's become a national sensation; she's made appearances on Good Morning America and the NFL Network. She is completely adorable and so, completely badass!! Happy Thanksgiving!
