We've got a mini Badass Chick on our hands! Kailey Ray is only 8 years old and she recently started a knitting business with her grandma in order to donate American Girl Dolls to children at a local hospital. When Kailey was only 6 years old, she cut her hair and donated it to a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer. Now that she's 8, she has begun knitting sets of hats: one sized to fit a child, and the other sized to fit an American Girl Doll, that go for $10 a pop. She plans to donate 100 dolls to patients at the Children's Hospital of Cincinnati. She's already donated almost 35 dolls! The reason that Kailey got involved in this? It's simple: she loves her American Girl Doll (who didn't love theirs growing up?! I still have my Samantha doll!) and she wants other kids to be able to have what she has.
