If you're not aware of Dress for Success, you NEED to be. I've been a huge fan of this organization since I first heard about it. Here's why: Dress for Success provides disadvantaged women suits, networking support and career development tools which allow for them to become career-focused and financially independent. Women are referred to Dress for Success through various organizations like homeless shelters, domestic abuse shelters, job training programs, etc. The CEO of Dress for Success is Badass Chick Joi Gordon who joined the staff in 1999 and became CEO of the worldwide operation by 2002. In her time, Joi has rebranded Dress for Success and has developed employment retention programs for the 50,000 clients that Dress for Success serves each year. I want you to get involved with Dress for Success, and one of my personal favorite Badass Chicks, Bethenny Frankel, has made it REALLY easy to do so: her brand Skinnygirl Cocktails has teamed up with Dress for Success with their Inspire Like A Lady campaign. It's simple: for every inspirational lady (read: Badass Chick) that you write about on Skinnygirl's Facebook page, Skinnygirl will donate $1 to Dress for Success. It's that simple. So head over to their Inspire Like A Lady campaign page, write about your favorite Badass Chick, and help out Dress for Success!
