Here we are at the end of summer, which of course means the end of my internship here. It has been a fun ride here at Z104, I can't say that it has been perfect, but it hasn't been bad either. Truth be told I am going to miss this place and the people in it. I always get reflective whenever I am standing at the edge of a major change in my life. This summer was basically the last hurrah of my kid days. I was certainly busy, but this is probably going to be the last summer where I wasn't constantly worrying about money. By this time next year I hope to have an apartment with my girlfriend in Whitewater, where I go to school. Living the dream and all that. I don't know if anyone is actually reading this, or if I am just talking to an abyss, but I have never been more excited in my life. Or more scared. But I guess that is the way things are sometimes. I have no options but to move forward, despite any doubts I might have. To quote Lara Croft: "Just have to keep moving."
It is official:
I loved Argo along with the rest of popular culture, but I have to say that I'm not very excited for Affleck as Batman. Maybe I am the only one who remembers that horrible Daredevil movie back in the day. And honestly, I have never been impressed with Affleck as an actor. Even in Argo, his performance was my least favorite. But I will still see the movie, no doubts about that.
It has now been officially revealed that the PS4 is coming out on November 15th. In North America anyway. If you live in Europe or Asia, its on the 29th. No idea why, but there it is. I will not be getting one myself, because I want to make sure that there are no launch day issues with it. If I am going to spend $400 on a gaming system, I want it to work.
Syfy has now revealed the title of Sharknado 2. It will officially be called: Sharknado 2: The Second One. I like that Syfy now understands how stupid their movies are and aren't even trying to take them seriously anymore. The name came from fans on Twitter, where Syfy had a contest to name the second movie. I think it is a great idea, and I look forward to rolling my eyes at "The Second One."
