I am a HUGE Game of Thrones fan. I jumped into the series at the beginning of Season 2, loved it, then read the books while going back and watching Season 1. They are truly some of the best books I have ever read, and while the show doesn't (or hasn't yet) matched the greatness of the books, it is still my number one show to watch. I absolutly loved Season 3, and even though they strayed from the books a lot, I can't deny that several parts were a lot better in the show. It wasn't all that long ago we got casting news on who is going to be Oberyn Martel, also known as the Red Viper, in Season 4. I am so excited to watch his arc next season, while I won't spoil it, I will say that it is exciting (and a little surprising). We now know that someone else has been cast for Season 4, though we don't know who:
Even though we haven't been told who he is yet, the smart money is on Mace Tyrell or Magnar of Thenn. I'm thinking that it is more likely to be Mace, because I just don't think that Mark is built enough to play a strong Wildling leader. But I of course can't say for sure. You might recognize him as Sherlock's brother Mycroft in the show Sherlock, where he is brilliant. Other than that however, he hasn't done anything that notable. He was a guest star in a couple of episodes of Doctor Who and was in a few animated movies, which to me isn't all that impressive ( sorry). But Peter Dinklage wasn't in anything amazing when he got the role of Tyrion, and look how that turned out. The next 10 or so months couldn't go by fast enough.
Yes, movie goers, it is happening. And stick till the end of the trailer, cause Hiccup looks weird. Also, glide suit.
Well puberty sure hit him like a ton of bricks. I throughly enjoyed the first movie, so I am pretty interested in where the series is going. It really is one of Dreamworks' best movies. I wonder if that terrible Cartoon Network show is considered canon. I hope not, that show almost ruined this series.
So I may have been wrong about the whole Jak/Ratchet cross over, but a guy can dream right? It may not be as awesome as I had hoped, but we finally found out what those images that Sony tweeted were about. And we got a pretty new trailer:
Similar to Jak and Daxter, we haven't had a really good Ratchet and Clank game for a while, and this one seems to be getting back to what made the series great. And its cheap and on the PS3 instead of the PS4, so things are looking really great. I am more than willing to forget about All 4 One and Full Frontal Assault, and it looks like Insomniac is too. My only fear is that it might be shortened because of the cheaper price. But I am so psyched to be getting back to the world of Ratchet and Clank
Sorry if I am laying the on the video game news a lot today, but Sony keeps tweeting images that make me excited and intrigued. Check it out here:
The first one could be anything space related, so the jury's still out on that one. But the second one makes me think of one thing: Jak and Daxter. Its been a while since we had a real Jak game, (I don't count Jak X or New Frontier) and if the first one is about Ratchet and Clank, I'm thinking CROSS OVER. Oh man. My inner child and my inner geek and highfiving one another and weeping tears of joy just over the idea of it. The only downside is that it is probably for the PS4, which I don't want to get right away. But between this and Infamous: Second Son, it is getting harder and harder to resist.
