Zach Sobiech has passed away from a rare form of bone cancer called osteosarcoma. He was 17. When he was told that he only had months to live, he turned to music to say his goodbyes. He wrote a song called "Clouds" and it's pretty darn amazing. He recorded the song and posted it to Youtube where it quickly gained around 3 million views. His song caught the attention of many celebrities who paid tribute to him with a lip sync version of his song. It's beautiful. Take a watch. You'll see appearances from the following people:

Okay, maybe I'm overthinking this, but I think this is MAJORLY RUDE. It's speed dating "for skinny girls only." To be a participating lady you have to be a size 8 or smaller AND you have to display your dress size on your name badge for the actual speed-dating event. MEN, however can be any size. A description of the event even assured the men that all the women would be sized-up to make sure no one was lying about their size! 

"Guys, no need to worry about meeting a biggie-size chick 'down-sizing' to an 8 like when you're dating on-line. We'll be checking labels at the door!"

Hmmm... so am I wrong to think this is terrible? I wouldn't even want to participate in this because I'd feel like all the men would be shallow d-bags. On the flip side, I know there are "Plus size only" speed dating events as well... so maybe I' being too one-sided. To be honest, the part that ACTUALLY ANNOYS me most is that the restrictions are only on the women and not the men.

OUCH! I just can't believe that she would do this... I mean, aside from looking pretty terrible, it looks painful! I KNOW Kim Kardashian has enough money to buy new shoes and can probably have them delivered to her wherever she is. Do you think this is photo-shopped to look worse than it actually is?? Allegedly, while wounded and hiding from the authorities in a boat, Boston Bomber Dzokhar Tsarnaev scribbled out a confessional note on the wall. The note apparently explained the motive behind the Boston Marathon bombings - stating that the bombings were in retaliation for the United States invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. He claims the victims of the marathon bombings were collateral damage - in the same way innocent Muslim civilians have been killed by US military action. Apparently he added:

"When you attack one Muslim, you attack all Muslims."

This has got to be one of my favorite stories... it sounds like something out of a Disney film, but it's true. There is a mystery person in Braunschweig, Germany who has been leaving unmarked envelopes packed with cash at the doors of random people and places in need. The person has not been identified, but is now know as the "Good Samaritan." It all started in November 2012 when a resident made the news after being robbed of thousands of dollars. Shortly after, an unmarked envelope of cash was sent to the resident. Another envelope of money was spent to  a hospice in March and a struggling student worker found an envelope containing more than $10,000 under her doormat when she took out the trash.

Now the media outlet, while claiming they do not know the "Good Samaritan's" identity are in on the action. They post stories when another person finds an envelope and people flock to buy them to read the good news. Oftentimes the next recipient turns out to be someone who had a story posted about their hardship the same newspaper edition as the published good news about the previous recipient. Although papers claim that they are not purposely setting up anyone to be the next recipient and that they reject countless pleas from people to be set up as the next recipient. Recipients of money have included:

-a day-care facility for the elderly

-4 charities

-a choir

-several kindergartens

-a library

-soup kitchen

-An aid organization

-Church

-And many individuals

No one knows where the money is coming from. There is speculation that the "Good Samaritan" is a real-life Robin Hood - robbing from the rich to give to the poor/people in need. Some people also seem to think that it is an elderly person who is preparing for death.

20 teenagers were in a limo on their way to Prom when the van in front of them flipped over. The teens, all in prom dresses and tuxedos hopped out of the limo and ran to the rescue, helping to save the 5 adults and 2 kids that were trapped inside the flipped van. 

Even cooler, the teens did their best to wash the blood off their prom clothes and STILL went... how about that for "A Night To Remember?!"
