So... in Iceland, your name can be Bjork but not Blaer? Where's the line?! Apparantly in Iceland, you can only choose baby names off of a list of government approved names.

Somehow "Blaer" slipped through the system. Her mother says she did not know the name was not legal since she knew somene else with that name. Also, there's a character named "Blaer" in a novel by Iceland's revered Nobel Prize-winning author Halldor Laxness!!! WHAT THE HECK?! Menawhile, the government recognizes Blaer as just "Girl."
