Lil Wayne is still alive! There were a lot of crazy reports over the weekend following his rush to the hospital for seizures. There were reports of a coma, of him being "unstable," and of Lil Wayne receiving his Last Rights. 

A friend of Lil Wayne told CNN yesterday that Wayne was fine and is just "resting."

Another friend told US Magazine that Lil Wayne was in bad shape after he "drank too much sizzurp (a mixture of cough syrup and codeine) to get a better high."

In my opinion, I think that's pretty lame. I'm happy Lil Wayne is still alive and can't wait for new music, but had he died from a overdose of cough syrup, I'd have to say that would be the weakest death... maybe ever. Self-inflicted death by cough syrup. Not that I prefer a drive-by or a gun.. but the way rappers talk now-a-days, I feel like cough-syrup death would leave Lil Wayne with a terrible legacy. Here's hoping he takes this a sign and stops getting involved in dangerous nonsense. 

Friends of Lil Wayne's including Drake, Nicki Minaj, Birdman, and NBA player Chris Paul were all spotted leaving the hospital after visits.

Rumor is now, that Lil Wayne is fine. although the story switches from good to bad so frequently. All we can do is wait and hope for the best.
